OLQU Music will host Tenebrae.
Tenebrae means “shadows” or “darkness” in Latin. This service of readings and music reflects the darkness over the earth upon Christ’s death. Traditionally, Tenebrae was a part of the Liturgy of the Hours during Holy Week.
Today it has been adapted to be more accessible for the church community. Tenebrae is a powerful and reflective journey for the faithful before the Easter Triduum. As a Catholic Community, we embrace the light of Christ amid the darkness of sin and death. Please join us.
