Tenebrae

OLQU Music will host Tenebrae. Tenebrae means “shadows” or “darkness" in Latin. This service of readings and music reflects the darkness over the earth upon Christ’s death. Traditionally, Tenebrae was a part of the Liturgy of the Hours during Holy Week. Today it has been adapted to be more accessible for the church community. Tenebrae is a powerful and reflective journey for the faithful before the Easter Triduum. As a Catholic Community, we embrace the light of Christ amid the darkness of sin and death. Please join us.
